strawberry oatmeal smoothie
except i used almond milk and no sugar.
cocoa coconut chew laraBALLS are done! decided to make these instead of bars just because they’re easier and good for snacking! going to make cookie dough ones now!
carrot cake oatmeal topped with vanilla greek yogurt. recipe found at www.ohsheglows.com/2010/12/21/holiday-breakfast-in-a-jiffy-carrot-cake-oatmeal/
banana bread oatmeal :)
been craving pop like crazy lately (odd because i haven’t had it for like a year) so i figured this is a bit better alternative! high in sugar still but minus the weird ingredients. the blood orange is yummy! just not going to make it a daily drink. just whenever i crave something fizzy haha.
okay new fav dessert/treat! lemon greek yogurt with a graham cracker crushed in it. just like lemon meringue pie.
while my family is enjoying pizza takeout i’m enjoying roast veggies, baked chicken and greek salad :)
went to the grocery store and picked up these things (plus other things not pictured). finally caved a bought a box of larabars. i say caved because i really didn’t want to spend almost $20 on bars haha but $16 for 16 bars is a pretty good deal considering they’re $1.99 each individually. i plan on taking them to work so i can avoid the donuts. of course i had to buy a thing of halloween candy. $1 for this package! i didn’t eat halloween candy all of october so i definitely had to get some aha. i got my mom to hide them though so i can just have one every so often without eating the entire package in 1 minute.
turkey taco “bowl” salad!
D on looks A in taste haha. ground turkey cooked by following a regular taco recipe, added onion & kidney beans. made a tortilla bowl by flipping a muffin tin upside down and baking it at 400 for 10 minutes. then added a couple tablespoons of chipotle salsa & a tbsp of light sour cream.
spaghetti squash “pasta” and homemade tomato sauce for supper!
i was just going to use store bought sauce but figured homemade is a lot healthier (less sugar and unnecessary crap) and it tastes better.
